Why Did You Choose to Selfpublish Instead of Taking The Traditional Route?
The process is so easy to deal with and it meant that I could get my books published so much faster and to a far wider audience.
Did You Set Out To Become an Author as Your Main Profession?
No unfortunately, although it was always a passion and wish to make things happen eventually. I made the decision later in life, once I felt settled enough to give my writing my full attention.
Which Authors Have Inspired You The Most?
I have always love Alexander McCall Smith who has some riveting serials. He writes with humour, his talent for dialogue is in a class of it's own. I also love the classics and Charlotte Bronte always held my attention for her romance and depiction of life in that era. I'm sure if she was writing today she would allude to more sexual interaction than she was allowed to in her time.
Tell Us About One of Your Recent Releases.
First Class Indulgence is Book 1 in a series of 5 books in the 'First Class' series. It introduces Simone, a top class model who thought she was blissfully married to the man of her dreams until she arrives home unexpectedly to find him pleasuring another woman. Devastated and realising for the first time that her marriage has been a sham she sets off to spend some time with her sister in Paris but during her journey she meets someone who will change her life forever and help her regain her self-esteem.
I like to describe it as a romance with sexual tensions, drama and unexpected trysts that will hopefully make your heart race and your temperature rise!
What Is Your Favorite Part of This Book, and Why Do You Think Readers Will Enjoy It?
Without giving too much away, there is an unexpected tryst on her flight when a voluptuous airline stewardess is the cause of the heated exchange between Simone and the handsome pilot she has just met.
Where Do You See Self-Publishing Going In The Future?
Self publishing has opened the door of opportunity for so many. The competition will increase and we will be exposed to talent that could have remained hidden. Authors will come and go, the cream will always rise to the top but self publishing will always enable the aspiring writer to try.
Who Designed Your Cover Art?
I actually design my own covers.
All Jayne Jennings short stories contain deeply erotic, often explicit consensual love scenes. I like to write for women to spice up tedious travel or be a special book friend on a quiet evening alone to help to lose yourself in the fantasy!
