Why Did You Choose to Selfpublish Instead of Taking The Traditional Route?
The freedom and flexibility. To be honest, I never really considered traditional publishing because I didn't think it was an option for an erotica writer.
Did You Set Out To Become an Author as Your Main Profession?
No, I was a lawyer for many years, but was secretly writing romance / erotica stories on my work computer even when I was practicing law :)
Which Authors Have Inspired You The Most?
Nikki Crescent and Dalia Daudelin were very inspirational. They showed that dedication and hard work can have results.
Tell Us About Something You've Written.
Hucow 16 is the story of a gorgeous heifer who's trained in the art of rosebudding. For those folks who don't know what rosebudding is, it's a euphemism for anal prolapse -- basically where your rectal walls collapse drop out of your anus. It's an extreme type of a porn, but something that I found extremely erotic and fascinating to write about.
What Is Your Favorite Part of This Book, and Why Do You Think Readers Will Enjoy It?
I think readers will love the coaching aspect. On her rosebudding journey, Lucinda's coached by two cowboys who oversee every aspect of her development, from training her on machines to special toys to help her rosebud.
Where Do You See Self-Publishing Going In The Future?
I think that there will be some of formal grading system for self-published erotica. Right now, we have reviews to sort-of separate the good from not-so-good, but reviews aren't really reliable. Otherwise we'll be completely overwhelmed.
