Did You Set Out To Become an Author as Your Main Profession?
Yes, but it was something I returned to. I wrote my first short story at age eight, but didn't become a published author until 2015. In between I worked at a bank and then became a male stripper before returning to my true love of writing.
Which Authors Have Inspired You The Most?
Stephen King, although my greatest inspiration is a director, Alfred Hitchcock. There is always a splash of horror, thriller, mystery or suspense in everything I write.
Tell Us About Your Book:
Strip Shot is the prequel to my previous book, Behind the Velvet Curtain. It covers the years leading Michael to the stage and his early years in San Francisco. We've all seen strippers on stage, have you ever wondered how they got there? The answer will surprise you.
What Is Your Favorite Part of This Book, and Why Do You Think Readers Will Enjoy It?
The sex scenes are very steamy but my favorite parts are the splashes of paranormal horror, which gives the story a scary twist. I also love the humorous anecdotes and the eccentric characters Michael meets in San Francisco.
Who Designed Your Cover Art?
Rue Volley of Encompass Ink.
